Dear Voters, Supporters & Volunteers:

Maggie's Picture

I would like to thank all the voters who supported me in the 2012 Primary. I am proud to be re-elected as the Republican nominee for District #23.

I will continue to diligently represent and serve the residents of the district as well as serve all the taxpayers of Kane County.

In my first term in office I serve on numerous committees, such as the Judicial and Public Safety Committee, the Development Committee, the Legislative Committee, and the Legal Affairs Committee. I chair the Public Aid Committee, serve on the Property Maintenance Task Force and served on the Animal Control Task Force. I am also the Kane County alternate member to the Northwest Water Planning Alliance Executive Committee.

As a County Board member, I voted to reduce the size of the board from 26 members to 24 members. The new District #23 incorporates portions of Algonquin, Carpentersville, unincorporated Dundee Township north of Huntley Road, and the Lake Marian neighborhood. I also voted to keep the Kane County Levy flat for 2012.

If re-elected I will:

-Promote fiscal responsibility
-Work to improve economic development and job creation
-Advocate for transportation improvements, and
-Promote quality of life improvements in Kane County.

With your support, we can accomplish these goals and make Kane County an even better place to live. I will continue my grass roots campaign efforts in the fall for the general election in November. If re-elected I will continue to work hard for Kane County.  I would be honored to have your support in the next election.

Sincerely

Maggie Auger
Kane County Board Dist. #23
